Open Source Apache mod for MSIL

I wonder if mod_haydn supports PerlNET ?

Right now I'm doing some combined vbscript/perlscript programming on a legacy ASP system. It's pretty lame architecturally to use both languages at once, but it's a pragmatic step on the way to platform independence. I appreciate Microsoft's support for this with Active Scripting Hosts.

Right now, PerlNET doesn't have much that Perl w/COM can't provide except paradigm compliance with other .NET languages. I don't think there's a security benefit because PerlNET embeds an interpreter and using compiled extensions. I'm not sure about the deployment benefit either.

I suspect it's going to be a long time before paradigm compliance matters to anyone, but I'm looking forward to the PerlNET book mentioned in the above link to find out otherwise.
