Due Diligence: Intraspect Software is sold [Scripting News]

I've been on several Intraspect consulting projects, and have to say I liked the software. It is/was Java based server software that installed pretty easily, had verbose debugging logs, decent documentation, supported Oracle and SQL Server, Solaris and Windows, access via WebDAV, FTP, SMTP, and innovatively used Jython as it's scripting/extension language. Tough luck for the venture capitalists turning $100M into $20M. Ouch.

Continuing on the "Editing XML in Emacs" theme

(Started by Chris ...)

Meet James Clark's nXML alpha:

This looks great. But you do owe it to yourself to try editing XML in LEO sometime. Like emacs, the learning curve is a bit rough, but it pays off.

Plus it works great for adding structure to huge unstructured ASP, XSL, Cold Fusion, Transact SQL, and Template Toolkit files as well.
