WSGI: Pathologically Portable Python

I am a big fan of web server api agnosticism, aka writing portable web code. Perl's CGI->FastCGI->PerlRun portability is very decent, but I can only drool at the uberportability of running the same Python webapp across :

  • CGI
  • FastCGI
  • J2EE
  • HTTPServer.py
  • Twisted
  • mod_python
  • ASP(ASP.NET?), and
  • the shell for interactive debugging.

    That blows my mind.

    In other python news,

    Mason: now with whitespace
