Database Clustering, on the cheap

Reminds me of Sun-purchased clusterdb. It looks like it's a ground-up
implementation, not based on anything existing o-s db (like PeerDirect)
One of the neat things I read about the database is that you can run point-in-time historical queries -> just add a datestamp to your SQL. I can think of many applications where it'd be valuable to have easy time-series manipulation. I wonder how/when you can truncate those logs?
Also, nowhere in the docs does it talk about what SQL dialect they'll be supporting.
